FIELD: mechanical engineering; hand tools. SUBSTANCE: proposed vice includes bed frame 1 with guide 3 where motion screw 5 is located and movable jaw 2. Guide 3 which forms sliding pair together with bed frame 1 is provided with slots where locking members 12 and 13 are fitted; one of said locking members is connected with movable jaw and other locking member is connected with bed frame and with respective nuts fitted on screw. Screw consists of two parts: part 6 has right-handed thread and forms screw pair with one nut and part 7 has left-handed thread and forms screw pair with other nut.
