PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the dropping of a cap inserted and mounted in an opening part of a cylindrical member without expanding a width in the ventilating direction, of a tank for a heat exchanger, and to prevent the deformation of a longitudinal side end part of the cylindrical member in preventing the dropping of the cap. SOLUTION: The cap 19 for closing the opening part of the cylindrical member 18 of the tank 3 is composed of a butting part 32 butted to a peripheral edge face of the opening part, and an insertion part 31 formed corresponding to the number of the opening parts and inserted into the opening parts to be closely kept into contact with inner side faces of the opening parts. A hook claw 33 is stood from an edge part at a side opposite to the insertion part, of the butting part 32. The hook claw 33 is bent after the insertion part 31 is inserted into the opening part to be engaged with a longitudinal side part of the cylindrical member 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
