PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle operating device of an endoscope, for switching between an automatic locking function operating state and an automatic locking function stop state with light force, simply discriminating between the above states, and operating at ease without wrong operation. SOLUTION: Rotating operation members 20, 21 for rotating a pulley are formed of a drive part including a drive knob and a drive arm and a driven part including a driven rotor. The drive arm 34 and the drive rotor 31 are provided with an interlocking mechanism to interlock the drive part with the driven part. The driven part is provided with a moving ring 33, the driven rotor 31, a locking member and a friction ring 37, thereby operating the automatic locking function, and the driven part is further provided with an outer ring 17 including a lever, thereby moving up and down the drive part to switch between the operating position and the stop position of the automatic locking function.
