The invention relates to a storage shelf (5), which can be joined to a free-standing rack structure, is made of an upper metal sheet (9), of a lower metal sheet (10) having undulatory bends, and of end metal sheets (26) situated at the ends, and which has a high level of flexural strength and load-bearing capacity even when provided in large sizes. This storage shelf (5) can preferably be used in shelf systems and, in particular, in a garage. When mounted in a garage, said storage shelf (5) extends from the front wall into the parking area and is arranged at a height that permits the engine hood (4) of the vehicle (3) that is to be parked inside the garage to pass underneath the storage shelf (5). |
