PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube is provided to prevent noises of a mis-convergence correction device, while preventing electron beam convergence errors. CONSTITUTION: A mis-convergence correction device(30e) comprises a pair of cores(300e) each of which has three or more branches(302e,303e) opposed with each other; horizontal modulation coils(304e) wound on connection portions formed between the branches; a vertical modulation coil(306e) wound on the branches disposed at the centers of each of the cores; and permanent magnets(310e) disposed between the branches arranged at both ends of each of the cores. Each of the cores is E-shaped.
