<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller for a vehicle by which sufficient acceleration responsiveness can be obtained even if fluid coupling without torque amplifying action and a torque converter with an insufficient torque amplifying ratio are used. <P>SOLUTION: Assist torque T<SB>A</SB>to be outputted from a motor generator MG1 or MG2 (a second motor, an electric motor) is calculated on the basis of required torque T<SB>RE</SB>, which is required for obtaining target acceleration G<SB>T</SB>decided on the basis of a change rate dθ<SB>ACC</SB>/dt of the opening degree of the accelerator θ<SB>ACC</SB>and vehicle velocity V, and output torque T<SB>E</SB>of an engine (a first motor) 10 by an assist torque calculating means 96. When it is judged as a motor assist region A to execute the torque assist by the electric motor by a torque assist changing means (a torque sharing ratio changing means) 108, the electric motor is controlled by a motor output controlling means 98 so as to output the assist torque T<SB>A</SB>. Accordingly, sufficient acceleration responsiveness corresponding to the target acceleration G<SB>T</SB>can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
