<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eject, in a specified arrangement (all face-up or all face-down), recording paper sheets where an objective images have been formed even in the case once-used recording paper sheets are supplied with the printed faces randomly arranged. <P>SOLUTION: The recording paper sheets, one surface of which has not been used for image formation, are supplied from a supply source. In an image forming mode, an image based on an inputted image data is formed on the side of the recording paper sheet detected to be blank, an image indicating the already printed side (back side) is formed on a side detected as not blank, and the recording paper is then ejected to a specified paper-ejection end. The number of times of inversion of the recording paper is changed in the case of detecting that only the first side of the recording paper is blank and in the case of detecting that only the second side of it is blank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
