PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for transmitting module information representing application resources in a DASE data broadcasting system utilizing a data carousel protocol. SOLUTION: In the module information transmitting method including the steps of: placing common URI information of a plurality of modules within a module group on a DSI message for providing group information related to a group composed of modules of a predetermined number; and placing the remaining URI information except the common URI information in the URI information of modules within the group on a DII message for providing module information, the space for the DII message is saved to send one DII message while placing much more modules therein.
