<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault diagnostic technology, by which a skilled engineer at a remote site can determine whether a product is abnormal or not. <P>SOLUTION: Bidirectional transceivers, which can transmit/receive sounds and images, are provided for a shop which accepts complaints of users, and a repair site which collects and repairs the products accepted at each shop. After the ID of an object product transmitted from the shop is received at the repair site, an operation result of the object product manipulated, based on the instructions from a professional engineer at the repair site, is received in image and sound, and the status of the object product is recognized, whereby the engineer at the repair site makes diagnosis of the presence/absence of the fault and records a diagnosis result with the product ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
