<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio-controlled timepiece which can automatically correct for the time in each area by receiving various standard waves, can efficiently work for reception operation and can save energy and has proper operational capabilities. <P>SOLUTION: The radio-controlled timepiece 1 comprises a reception selecting means 60 for selecting a receiving object station of standard wave, a reception frequency switching means 57 for switching a tuning circuit 221 to the frequency of the selected receiving object station, a receiving wave deciding means 56 for deciding the success of the reception of the standard wave, a time correction means 55 for correcting the present time, based on the time information of the standard wave, and a selection order storing means 70 where the selection order of the receiving object station is stored. The reception selecting means 60 comprises the first reception station selecting receiver 61 for selecting and receiving the first receiving object station, and a receiving station sequential selecting receiver 62 for selecting in turn the receiving object station, according to the selection order stored in the selection order storing means 70 and receiving the wave, when the wave reception fails. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
