PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film which ameliorates an interference unevenness caused by the polyester film with a formed hard-coated layer. SOLUTION: The ratioΔPw/ΔPw0 of a spectrum strength sumΔPw at 0.01 to 0.3m to a spectrum strength sumΔPw0 at 0.01 to 1m when the Fourier analysis of the waveform of a thickness unevenness in the longitudinal direction is performed, is not more than 0.2. In addition, the thickness unevenness at 2.5m in the longitudinal direction is not more than 2% and the thickness unevenness at 0.01m in the longitudinal direction is not more than 0.5%.
