BATHING DEVICE FOR NURSING CARE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing device for nursing care which is compact and does not take up much space when it is not used and can greatly reduce the burden on a care giver when it is used. SOLUTION: A bathtub 12 is supported by an axis support part 14 which moves vertically by the drive force of a motor and a roller 13 which runs on a tilting guide part 15. The bathtub 12 is placed below a hot water storage tank 11 under an almost orthostatic condition when it is not used. Therefore, it is very compact when it is not used. The axis support part 14 comes down when it is used, and the roller 13 goes down on the tilting guide part 15. The bathtub 12 tilts in a state that the top opening changes from above diagonally in front to almost directing above. Since such tilts are performed all by the electric drive of the motor, the care giver only performs a key operation, and labor can be reduced greatly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
