PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a means for easily ameliorating edema and to provide a means for ameliorating the edema especially in the body part. SOLUTION: A cosmetic kit for ameliorating the edema comprises (1) a massage cosmetic containing a warm sense imparting agent and/or a blood circulation promoter and (2) a massage cosmetic for cooling down containing a cold sense imparting agent or a cooling agent as constituent elements. Massage is successively carried out by using the cosmetic kit for ameliorating the edema and using each cosmetic for massage. Glycerol or a polyglycerol, 1,3-butanediol, a liquid polyethylene glycol and a metal oxide can be exemplified as the warm sense imparting agent. An extract from Guinea pepper and vanillyl butyl ether can be exemplified as the blood circulation promoter. Menthol, menthyl glyceryl ether and menthyl lactate can be exemplified as the blood circulation promoter. Dimethyl ether, a liquefied natural gas and a solid polyethylene glycol can be exemplified as the cooling agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
