The invention relates to a coating device (100) for coating, for example, lens- or grain-shaped base bodies. Said coating device comprises a drum (110), mounted so as to pivot about a horizontal axis, for receiving the base bodies during a charging process, a charging device for filling the base bodies into the drum (110), a closable opening of the drum (110) for receiving the uncoated base bodies in the drum (110) and for discharging the finished coated base bodies from the drum (110) and a spray device for coating the base bodies disposed inside the drum (110). The invention is characterized in that downstream from the drum a discharge device (130) for discharging the finished coated base bodies is provided which makes it possible to operate the operational sections of discharge and cleaning of the device in parallel. Between said discharge device and the drum (110), a screen (140) is disposed and can be reciprocated, said screen being displaceable from a first position in which it screens off the discharge device to a second position in which it releases the discharge device and back. |
