<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballpoint pen which, even when filled with low-viscosity ink, can suppress ink squeezeout of the writing and ink bleeding of the writing in a period from the start of writing to substantially full consumption of the filled ink. <P>SOLUTION: Ink 7 and a follower 8 are housed in an ink housing cylinder 6. A ball 3 is energized forward by a resilient member 4. In the measurement of the flow amount of ink every 100 m of writing distance, in a period from the start of writing to the measurement just before the flow of 80% of the amount of filled ink, the value of ink flow amount per 100 m of the writing distance is not less than a value which is 20 mg smaller than the amount of ink flow in a period from a writing distance of 0 m to a writing distance of 100 m and is not more than a value which is 20 mg larger than the amount of ink flow in a period from a writing distance of 0 m to a writing distance of 100 m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
