<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe that can easily be connected to a female connector with a female screw part on the outer circumferential surface as well as to a female connector without it. <P>SOLUTION: The syringe 1 can be connected at its top end to either the first female connector 9 or the second female connector that has the female screw part on its outer peripheral surface and has an outer cylinder, a gasket, and a piston. The top end of the outer cylinder has an integrally formed mouth part 22 that has a bore diameter smaller than the body part 21 of the outer cylinder. The outer circumference of the mouth part 22 has a lock adapter 23 that can relatively rotate around the mouth part 22 and relatively move along the axial direction of the mouth part 22. The lock adapter 23 can be retreated to a position on the bottom end side which does not disturb an operation of fitting a male taper part 222 made at the top end of the mouth part 22 into a cavity 91 of the first female connector 9 and where the adaptor 23 is fixed to the mouth part 22 at the place it is retreated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
