<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an occupant restriction performance while reducing pressure degree exerted upon an occupant by a seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: A buckle 41 engaged with a tang 32 of a three-point type seat belt 31 is mounted to a seat frame 23 through a guide 45 only allowing movement of the buckle in a forward direction of a vehicle. An energy absorption mechanism 50 is provided allowing the movement of the buckle to the forward direction with resistance force when external force exceeding a predetermined value in the forward direction of the vehicle is applied to the buckle 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
