<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a myeloma cell line available as a model of IL-6 dependent proliferation mechanism of myeloma, an experimental animal transplanted the cell line, and a screening method for a myeloma treating agent using the cell line and the experimental animal. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed are the IL-6 dependent proliferating human myeloma cell line through autocrine mechanism, the experimental animal transplanted the cell line, an in vitro screening method of myeloma treating agent comprising testing myeloma cell proliferation inhibition by adding the myeloma treating agent to the cell line, and an in vivo screening method of myeloma treating agent comprising testing the myeloma cell proliferation inhibition by administering the myeloma treating agent to the experimental animal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
