PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative plate which has excellent surface hardness, damage resistance and water resistance sufficiently usable as a floor material, etc., which does not increase in weight with a simple constitution and which can be simply manufactured. SOLUTION: The decorative plate is obtained by laminating a decorative sheet 1 on a base plate 3 via an adhesive layer 2 having a hardness exceeding the hardness of the plate 3. It is desirable to use a one-liquid moisture curing type hot-melt adhesive or an electron beam curing type adhesive in the layer 2. Groove working 4 or chamfering working 5 of the depth not reaching the plate 3 from the surface of the sheet 1 reaching in the layer 2 may be performed. The water resistance is not lowered by the working. If the layer 2 is previously colored in a color tone similar to the sheet 1, it is not necessary to color the working part later.
