PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide what is called a high-isolation optical multiplexer/demultiplexer whose sealing size is small, cost is low, and insertion loss is low. SOLUTION: The so-called optical multiplexer/demultiplexer comprises an optical multiplexing/demultiplexing member, two storage tubes, and one outer tube, and among them, the optical multiplexing/demultiplexing member includes a 1st optical fiber, a 2nd optical fiber, a 3rd optical fiber, and a 4th optical fiber. The 1st optical fiber forms a 1st coupling section with the 2nd optical fiber and a 2nd coupling section with the 2nd optical fiber. The 2nd optical fiber further forms a 3rd coupling section with the 4th optical fiber. The two storage tubes store the 1st coupling section, 2nd coupling section, and 3rd coupling section, and the external tube is used to protect the optical multiplexing/demultiplexing member and two storage tubes.
