PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of minimizing its volume increment by making the pack, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: In this battery pack, a cell element 2 is hermetically sealed in a packaging body 5, and further the body 5 is packaged together with a base plate 3 and a flame 4, and in addition, the laminate material hermetically sealing the cell element 2 is used as a part of the outer packaging body of the battery pack 1.
