摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate change with time of the magnitude of crack development based on the rate of crack development corresponding to a change of a stress intensity factor by using a crack development rate expression corresponding to the change of the stress intensity factor, in a method for forecasting/evaluating crack development and a system for the same. SOLUTION: This system is structured so as to find a stress intensity factor at a deepest crack point based on a relation between the depth of a crack produced in a structure and stress distribution in the depth direction of the crack. In this system, when the found intensity factor increases as the crack develops, it decreases, or it remains constant, crack development rate corresponding to the intensity factor is set as an increase type, a decrease type, or a constant type, respectively. Among the set types, two or more types of combinations are adopted as options, and which of the adopted types a crack development rate corresponds to is selected, to calculate crack development time corresponding to the magnitude of crack development. Further, in this system, change with time of the magnitude of crack development based on the rate of crack development corresponding to a change of a stress intensity factor is evaluated by sequentially renewing the magnitude of crack development and crack development time and by repeating the procedure.
