PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a solid cosmetic excellent in makeup effect with significant finish of varied color development depending on viewing angle and good in makeup sustainability. SOLUTION: This solid cosmetic comprises (a) a color pigment, (b) 10-80 wt.% of multilayer-structured lustrous powder obtained by coating flaky powder of a substance selected from synthetic mica, titanium oxides, silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, barium sulfate, bismuth oxychloride and glass powder with two or more compounds selected from titanium oxides, zinc oxide, silicon oxide, aluminum oxide and bismuth oxychloride, and (c) a liposoluble film-forming resin. The color difference(ΔE) on the surface of the skin applied with this cosmetic is 10-50, wherein the color difference denotes a difference between the colorimetric value determined at an angle of incidence of 25°and an angle of receiving of light of 0°and that determined at an angle of incidence of 75°and an angle of receiving of light of 0°.
