PURPOSE: An LCD panel is provided to make an area of a black matrix where an alignment layer is not formed longer than a distance of a stage when the first round of a rubbing process is performed. CONSTITUTION: A substrate inrush direction(S) of a rubbing of the second substrate and a black matrix area(7) where an alignment layer of a vertical semi-terminal side(T) is not formed are formed longer than a distance at which the first round of a rubbing roller(11) is performed. The second substrate is cut in a part of the substrate inrush direction(S) and the black matrix area(7) of the vertical semi-terminal side(T), to make an LCD panel end of the semi-terminal side(T) the part of the black matrix area(7).
