<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal device capable of maintaining the activated state and operating even when transmitting data while supplying power to a lighting means. <P>SOLUTION: In a portable telephone set 1 with a camera, even when data communication is started in the power charging mode, by temporarily interrupting power supply to a strobe light 15 during a transmission operating period MV for consuming the power most at least at the time of data communication, it is avoided that the power supply for charging the strobe 15 and the power supply for transmission to a signal processing part 31 and a transmission part 35 are performed simultaneously, and a voltage value of a power source part 32 is prevented from dropping sharply.
