摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition which can be sintered at &le;1,200&deg;C, and, when applied to a piezoelectric element, can improve the temperature properties of the resonant frequency thereof, and can also impart excellent oscillation properties thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric ceramic composition comprises the main component expressed by the general formula: äPb<SB>1-x-y</SB>(La<SB>a</SB>Nd<SB>1-a</SB>)<SB>x</SB>}ä(Ni<SB>1/3</SB>Nb<SB>2/3</SB>)<SB>z</SB>Ti<SB>1-z</SB>}O<SB>3</SB>(wherein, 0.05&le;x&le;0.15, -0.075&le;y&le;0.075, 0&le;a&le;1, and 0.02&le;z&le;0.10 are satisfied), and an assistant component consisting of the oxide of Mn.
