CONTAINER ENGAGING MECHANISM FOR DOUBLE PACKAGED FOOD PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container engaging mechanism for a double packaged food product by which both the containers of the double packaged food product to use a simple container containing food intactly are reliably fixed.

SOLUTION: The double packaged food product includes: the outer body 1 of a food vessel; and a bottomed food container 2 containing food F where the outer body 1 is freely externally removable. The following technique is adopted in the food product: the upper part of the outer body 1 has a receiver 11 to which the main body 21 of the food container 2 can be inserted; lock projections 21a are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the main body 21 of the food container 2, and attached to/detached from the lower part of a lock rib 14 which is formed at an inner side face 13 of the outer body 1; and a flange 22 formed externally along the opening part of the food container 2 can be placed on the edge 11a of the receiver 11.
