<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an internal atmosphere of high temperature/high pressure from being sprayed to an inner face of a porcelain tube container. <P>SOLUTION: In a lightning arrester, an upper end and a lower end of the porcelain tube container 1 are blocked by an upper cover 2 and a lower cover 4, which have bursting films 2a and 4a. Characteristic elements 8 are accumulated in a vertical direction on a lower element fixing member 7 so as to fix them in the porcelain tube container 1. An upper part of the characteristic elements 8 is supported by an upper element fixing member 15. When an insulating tube 13 is arranged between the porcelain tube container 1 and the characteristic elements 8 and the bursting films 2a and 4a burst, the internal atmosphere of the insulating tube 13 is guided to directions of the bursting films 2a and 4a, and the insulating tube 13 is supported so that it can freely slide in the vertical direction. In the lightning arrester, a lower part of the insulating tube 13 is engaged with an engaging means 7b having a prescribed height protruded upward from the lower element fixing member 7 so as to hold it. When the insulating tube 13 moves upward, the insulating tube 13 is engaged with the upper element fixing member 15, and the insulating tube 13 is prevented from moving upward by not less than the height of the engagement means 7b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
