PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump convenient to handle by integrating the pump and a motor. SOLUTION: A suction adapter 2 with a suction port 2a is mounted to the front part of a main frame 1, and a discharge adapter 3 with a discharge port 3a is mounted to the rear part of the main frame. A partition wall 4 is mounted between both adapters in the main frame. Inside the partition wall, a rotor unit 13 mounted with an impeller 11 and a permanent magnet 12 constituting the motor, is disposed at a hollow rotating shaft 14, and the impeller faces a pump chamber 7 formed inside the partition wall. An inner hole 14a of the rotating shaft 14 communicates with the pump chamber 7 through the impeller 11, and the pump chamber 7 communicates with the discharge port 3a of the discharge adapter 3 through a cutout through hole 15 provided in a bowl-shaped discharge casing 6. A stator 16 constituting the motor is disposed between the main frame 1 and the partition wall, corresponding to the permanent magnet 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
