PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified reciprocating dust collector which reduces the height of equipment in an above-ground part suitable for a small-scale river in a built-up area etc., and requires only a small driving force. SOLUTION: A screen 1, which is formed in a curved shape like an arc, is arranged by directing an overhang side upstream; a rake 2 like teeth of a comb, which is arranged in front of the screen 1, is oscillatably mounted on oscillating arms 4 and 4 which are provided on both the sides of the screen 1; and stoppers 7 and 7 are provided in the oscillating arms 4 and 4 so that the rake 2 cannot be turned downward. A wire rope 5 for a manually operated winch 6 is connected to a mounting part 2a of the rake 2. A protrusion for switching the attitude of the rake 2 or a roller 9 is provided outside each of arms 8 and 8 which are provided on both the sides of the rake 2, and guide rails 10 and 10 for guiding the protrusion or the roller 9 are provided on a circle, concentric with the screen 1, on an upstream side with respect to the screen 1. Additionally, a route switching piece 11 is provided in a check valve shape in each of the upper parts of the guide rails 10 and 10, and guide parts 10a and 10a for switching an attitude of ascent are provided in the lower parts of them.
