PURPOSE: A method for recording/playing Karaoke data is provided to store song data in an optical disc as the Karaoke data, and efficiently record/manage the navigation information for controlling the playback of the Karaoke data by using a CD/DVD(Compact Disc/Digital Versatile Disc)-recorder. CONSTITUTION: A header information is searched/read based on a header start address included in a program volume descriptor(S11). The song data to be played is searched/read based on a start address of the song and the song size information included in the header information. After temporarily storing the song(S13), the song data is played with the video data(S15).
