PURPOSE: A broadband pi-shaped antenna is provided to improve largely a characteristic of bandwidth by adhering an open stub and a short stub to an inverse-L-shaped antenna for narrow band. CONSTITUTION: A broadband pi-shaped antenna includes a vertical radiation unit, a horizontal radiation unit, an open stub, a short stub, and a feeding unit. The vertical radiation unit(130) is extended between a first ground part and a second ground part. The horizontal radiation unit(140) is extended vertically from a termination of the vertical radiation unit to the vertical radiation unit. The open stub(150) is formed from the termination of the vertical radiation unit to the opposite direction to the extended direction of the horizontal radiation unit. The short stub(160) is used for connecting the horizontal radiation unit to the first ground part. The feeding unit(170) is connected to the vertical radiation unit in order to supply the power.
