<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable portable apparatus having a three-dimensional display device capable of displaying a three-dimensional solid image in a folded state. <P>SOLUTION: This portable apparatus has a first part having a transparent display device and a second part having a display device, the first and second parts being foldable. While the first and second parts are folded, the transparent display device and display device are disposed in this order when viewed from a user, and respectively display two-dimensional images of a display object projected from the direction of the user's line of sight on the respective two display planes located at different depths when viewed from the user. A means is provided for independently changing the luminance of the two-dimensional images displayed on the transparent display device and the display device for every display device while the first and second parts are folded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
