<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that makes it possible to obtain, from a set of documents consiting a plurality of stacks of documents, the output in the state where a set of plurality of stacks of transfer sheets with images transferred thereto in the same order as the document. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a control part 2 which exerts control such that a document reading part 300 fetches first image data for a plurality of pages and second image data for a plurality of pages, an image forming part 100 transfers the second image data to each transfer sheet per page, a post-processing part applies a finishing process separately to a first stack of transfer sheets with first image data transferred thereto and a second stack of transfer sheets with the second image data transferred thereto. The control part 2 further conducts the operation of leading the first and second stacks of transfer sheets to the ejecting part one after the other so that they are placed in that order until predetermined sets of transfer sheets are prepared. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
