<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR system for an internal combustion engine provided with a turbocharger capable of conducting EGR while securing a high EGR ratio to effectively reduce NOx even under a high load. <P>SOLUTION: The EGR system 1 for an internal combustion engine E is provided with a first EGR passage 10 to circulate EGR gas on the downstream side of a compressor 2b on the upstream side of a turbine 2a of the turbo charger 2. A second EGR passage 20 to circulate EGR gas is provided on the upstream side of the compressor 2b from the downstream side of the turbine 2a. A DPF 21 is disposed on the second EGR passage 20, and flow of exhaust gas in the first EGR passage 10 and the second EGR passage 20 is controlled based on exhaust gas temperature detected by an exhaust gas temperature sensor 32 disposed on an exhaust passage 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
