<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split type galvanic anode for suppressing or preventing anomalous corrosion at the boundary, i.e., at the ground contact part between a floor surface and a steel struts (tube) supporting facility and equipment to be installed on the floor surface of the base of construction, civil engineering, machinery or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The split type annular galvanic anode is a hollow body of a circular or polygonal shape in external form having an inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the objective strut. The outer periphery of the ring is of a size through which the external form of the objective strut passes (an inner angle ≤180°). The ring is unequally bisected to a shape flaring in a sectorial form toward the inner diameter (hollow part) of the ring. Broken lines for splitting may be either straight lines or curves. The split ring pieces respectively form a plurality of overhanging portions contacting the outside surface of the objective strut toward the center of the ring from the inner side of the ring pieces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
