<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutting method and apparatus by which a multi-faceted sheet can efficiently be cut. <P>SOLUTION: In the sheet cutting method, the sheet cutting apparatus is provided with a plurality of pyramidally arranged cutting machines (1a, 1b, 1c), and conveyers (2a, 2b) extending so as to be branched from the upstream cutting machine (1a) to the downstream cutting machines (1b, 1c). A sheet 3(a) multi-faceted with product parts (I, II, III, IV) is cut into two pieces (3a, 3b) by the upstream cutting machine (1a), and they are distributed into each down stream cutting machine (1b, 1c) by the conveyers (2a, 2b), and are further cut into two pieces. The operation is repeated to each most downstream cutting machine, so that the product parts (I, II, III, IV) are obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
