<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiwindow display device preventing the display of a window from being disturbed by the request of an application program. <P>SOLUTION: A window manager 12 determines whether or not the window control requests of application programs AP1, AP2, AP3, (e.g., the order of overlapping of windows, display size, changes in display position and so forth) corresponding to windows W1, W2, W3 displayed in a display part 13 are to be executed, based on the preset priority of display of the requesting application program. When determined to be executable, the window control requests are executed to preferentially display the window corresponding to the requesting application program; when determined to be non-executable, the window control requests are ignored.
