PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-level waste stationing device in performing geological disposal for conveying and stationing overpacks and buffer blocks stored with high-level radioactive waste, safely, surely, at a low cost, and with efficiency. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with carriages 2, 2A, and 2B self-traveling by remote operation, a plurality of loading parts 20, 20a to 20e, 10, and 30 provided on the carriages and capable of being loaded with the overpacks together with at least either containers of the buffer blocks or their lids at the same time, or capable of being loaded with the plurality of overpacks at the same time, shield containers 94 for respectively covering the overpacks loaded on the loading parts, opening/closing shutters 29a and 29b provided on lower openings of the shielding containers and opened/closed by remote operation, and elevating mechanisms 21, 22, 23, and 24 for suspendingly lowering the overpacks out of the shielding containers into a disposal hole by remote operation.
