PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a veranda noise reducing structure superior in durability and weatherability, and reducing noise intruding inside a building via a veranda from an external part. SOLUTION: A shielding plate 5 capable of shielding at least a part of an upper space above a handrail 3 of a veranda 2 is arranged in the veranda 2 so as to be protrusible-retreatable to the upper space. Since a part of the noise intruding from the external part is reflected by the shielding plate 5 by shielding the upper space by the shielding plate 5, the noise can be reduced. The shielding plate 5 may be any construction material when the noise can be reflected, and since there is no need to use a conventional porous material, there is no need to apply special maintenance, and the durability and the weatherability can be improved.
