PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staple cartridge of a stapler for safely turning a face plate and easily removing jammed staples in a striking passage. SOLUTION: In the stapler where the staple 2 stored in the cartridge 1 is fed to the striking passage 15 formed in a striking part 3, and struck by a driver plate 7, and the leg of the staple piercing through sheets to be bound is bent by a clincher mechanism. Support pieces 17 are integrally formed from both side edges of the face plate 14 forming the striking passage 15, the support pieces 17 are rotatably fitted to both side parts of the cartridge, and an operating piece 20 for turning the face plate 14 is formed on the tip of an operating arm 19 extended at a designated angle from a pivot part of at least one support piece 17.
