PURPOSE: An automatic cake release apparatus of filter press is provided which contributes to complete automation of the filter press by easily releasing cake generated when treating liquid phase using the filter press. CONSTITUTION: The automatic cake release apparatus(10) of filter press comprises a filter fabric supporting bar(70) which is arranged in such a way that the filter fabric supporting bar is parallel to the upper surface of the filter plate on an upper part of filter plate(20), and to which an end of filter fabric(30) installed at both sides of the filter plate is fixed; a sliding bar(80) which is arranged in such a manner that the sliding bar is parallel to the side surface of the filter plate at the side surface of the filter plate, and which is connected to the filter fabric supporting bar; a setting unit(100) comprising a setting bracket(110) connected to a side surface of the filter plate at which the sliding bar is installed, and a spring(126) for providing elastic force with being supported by the setting bracket, wherein the setting unit provides elastic force in a direction of the filter fabric supporting bar as supporting the sliding bar and the filter fabric supporting bar so that the filter fabric is tightly pulled to the filter fabric supporting bar; a handle(40) which is connected to the side surface of the filter plate, and on which a guiding hole corresponding to the sliding bar is formed; and a forcible transfer unit(90) connected to the sliding bar and equipped with an actuator(92) to transfer the sliding bar vertically, wherein cake is released to a lower part of the filter plate by vertically transferring the sliding bar as the sliding bar is being guided with the sliding bar being slidingly connected to the guiding hole formed on the handle during the filter press process, thereby forcibly shaking the filter fabric.
