<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting related to an image quality and a speed of a printer device by an intuitive and quite easy method. <P>SOLUTION: An operation dial 2 for setting the image quality and the speed, and a display means (display bar) 5 for clearly indicating a setting state of the operation dial 2 are set at an operation part of a recording device 1.
