<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a downward swell on a base due to the weight of a housed article from occurring beyond a dent since the rear face of the base is formed with the dent having a size enclosing the swell on the bottom which swells downward when the article is mounted, so that a transporting container can be stably mounted on a platform, a floor, a roller conveyer or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The transporting container consists of the base 2, and sidewalls 3 and 4 provided to surround the base.
