<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and highly efficient exhaust emission control device by solving the problem wherein an installation space becomes vast for using a honeycomb structure having a large number of flowing holes partitioned by partition walls in the shaft direction by an outer peripheral wall and the inside of the outer peripheral wall for a catalyst carrier and a DPF carrier for expecting the realization of a system for serially arranging respective devices of an oxidation catalyst, DPF and SCR catalysts in an exhaust gas passage as one of a postprocessing technology for purifying exhaust gas of a diesel engine. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device has a large number of flowing holes partitioned by the partition wall in the shaft direction by the outer peripheral wall and the inside of the outer peripheral wall, and has the catalyst carrier for exhaust emission control composed of the honeycomb structure for also passing the exhaust gas into the partition wall by sealing meshes of the inflow side and outflow side desired flowing holes of the exhaust gas, and purifies the exhaust gas by passing through a pore in a partition wall surface and the partition wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
