LIQUID STORAGE TANK, DROPLET DISCHARGE UNIT, DROPLET DISCHARGE APPARATUS, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank for a droplet discharge apparatus which can store a little amount of liquid and enables minute negative pressure to be produced inside the tank. SOLUTION: Discharging liquid is supplied to a liquid passage and a negative pressure is applied to the liquid passage by connecting the tank 1 holding the liquid in a plurality of capillary tubes using capillary phenomenon to the liquid passage leading to a discharge nozzle of the droplet discharge apparatus. This enables the tank 1 to store a little amount of liquid like a solution containing a biological specimen such as DNA. Production of minute negative pressure corresponding to storage of a little amount makes supply of liquid from the tank to the nozzle and prevention of liquid leak from the nozzle compatible.
