ADAPTER FOR CONNECTOR WITH MEMORY FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly detect a connecting state of a connector with a memory function to an adapter in the adapter in which the connector having a memory functioning unit is plugged in and connected. SOLUTION: The adapter 2 is plugged in and connected with the connector 4 having the memory functioning unit 6 which can write and read storage information without contact from an external unit. The adapter 2 includes an antenna 7 for reading the storage information of the unit 6 of the connector 4 without contact when the connector 4 is plugged in and connected to the adapter 2, and a switch 11 which operates by plugging in the connector 4 when the connector 4 is plugged in and connected to the adapter 2 near the adapter 2 or in the adapter 2.
