PURPOSE: A device for driving lens is provided to reduce power consumption when the lens is driving or a position of the lens is maintained. CONSTITUTION: A device for driving a lens(2) includes a moving body(3) and fixed body. The fixed body moves a moving body(3) in an optical axis direction of the lens(2) between a first lens retaining positions and a second lens retaining position and retains the moving body(3) at the first lens retaining position and the second lens retaining position. The moving body(3) includes the lens and a driving magnet(5) attached to the lens. The fixed body(4) includes a magnetic member. The magnetic member is disposed opposite at least one of two end sections in the optical axis direction of the driving magnet(5). The magnet member includes a first magnet member disposed adjacent to the first lens retaining position and a second magnet member disposed adjacent to the second lens retaining position.
