PURPOSE: A method for controlling automatically an operational period of a servomotor is provided to set up automatically a transferring distance, an adhering period, and a cutting period of a non-processed product. CONSTITUTION: A period of pulse start signals is calculated by using a driving period of a machine(S1). A CPU calculates a driving period of a servomotor(S2). The CPU determines a high speed according to an acceleration pattern and a deceleration pattern(S3). The determined acceleration is outputted to a speed data output unit(S4). The CPU determines correspondence between a count value of pulse stream and a calculated acceleration point(S5). The high speed is maintained if the count value of pulse stream corresponds to the calculated acceleration point(S6). The count value of pulse stream is compared to a calculated deceleration point(S7). The deceleration is outputted if the count value of pulse stream corresponds to the calculated deceleration point(S8). A servomotor is stopped if the count value of pulse stream corresponds to a transferring period of time(S9).
