摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the problem of electric charge leak from occurring by enabling a cylindrical body having no burr to be produced by removing burrs generated by grinding the cylindrical body made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and to manufacture an electrophotographic photoreceptor drum or a developer carrier by using the cylindrical body as a base body. <P>SOLUTION: The cylindrical body 5 for the electrophotographic apparatus manufactured by the grinding process and an electric conductor 6 are arranged adjacent to each other via an electrically nonconductive fiber 10 having a diameter between 1&mu;m and 200&mu;m. A voltage of &ge;80V is applied between the cylindrical body 5 for the electrophotographic apparatus and the electric conductor 6, and grinding burrs on a surface of the cylindrical body 5 for an electrophotographic apparatus are removed by electric discharge process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
